"Justin, we understand your frustration and appreciate taking the time to leave us a review. Having a right hand drive vehicle is a unique situation as majority of vehicles in TX we insure are left hand drive. While we were able to provide you insurance for a year still, unfortunately it was underwriting decision to non-renew your policy at the end of your current term. The reason your policy increased from what you had submitted was due to the VIN not being validated since it was not a US vehicle, so the policy issued initially higher. After your first 6mo, Underwriting reviewed the policy for renewal. They renewed the policy and provided coverage still for the next 6 months, but requested for you to send photos of the VIN and vehicle to make sure it meets our guidelines for non-US vehicles. You were mailed a letter in May, our office reached out in July when those had still not been submitted. We submitted them on your behalf as soon as we got them. After Underwriting received the photos and reviewed them, the decision was made that with it being an imported vehicle 25+ years old, it's unable to verify if it meets our standard safety/emissions/etc. guidelines. They then notified us and yourself that your policy would be non-renewed*. So, if the photos would have been submitted in May, they still would have provided you insurance through August. Being that we got them submitted later, the timeframe may feel like short notice. We are happy we were able to provide coverage for a year and that their decision was not to cancel your policy effective immediately. Although unfortunate, having coverage for a year, and then a week to find a company that will cover the vehicle, is still a more favorable result than what it could have been. "

"Kobe, I am sorry you felt the need to leave this review and direct it at us. You have been with us for over 2 years without a single issue prior to this. We have no control over you making payments online through State Farm website, or when your Bank decides to reflect those payments. We have told you that this appears to be an issue with when your bank reflected the amount on your statement. Our records show a September payment and we provided you a receipt for that payment. Your September bank statement does not show it. You have given us an October transaction report where the bank showed it, but we do not show anything in October. You have not provided a receipt for October if you had made a payment then also, or a September transaction report showing there was payment made in both months. The fact the September statement does not show the transaction you have receipt and our system shows points to your bank not reflecting the transaction until October. We advised you to either go through your bank to see why there was the delay which prevented you from accounting for it.... or provide us with the redacted statement from them showing the transaction codes* . State Farm could then track and link the payment and to confirm if it was the September payment that your bank reflected late or easily issue a refund if it was an error. We would be more than happy to help confirm or look into this more but you have not provided anything requested or necessary and had told us you would pursue first through your bank. Until now, you have decided to go with the negative review route without coming back to go over anything additional with us. We would be more than happy to help if you want to come in and provide what is needed."
